Why We Exist
Political media in 2026 is broken by design. Outlets optimize for outrage because outrage drives clicks. Audiences self-select into echo chambers and never encounter a version of events that challenges their assumptions. The result is a country where people cannot agree on basic facts, let alone policy.
Well This Is News is built as a direct response to that problem. We do not tell you what to think. We show you how the same story gets told differently depending on who is telling it, and we let you draw your own conclusions.

How It Works
Every story published on Well This Is News goes through a multi-stage editorial process.
Stage 1: Story selection. Our editorial system monitors dozens of news sources across the political spectrum daily, identifying the stories that matter most to American readers right now.
Stage 2: Perspective framing. Each story is analyzed and presented through three distinct editorial frameworks: a left-leaning framing drawing on progressive sources and values, a right-leaning framing drawing on conservative sources and values, and an unbiased summary grounded in verified facts only.
Stage 3: Editorial review. Every story is reviewed for accuracy, fairness, and balance before publication. Our standard for the unbiased framing is strict: if it could not appear in both a left-leaning and right-leaning publication without objection, it goes back for revision.
Stage 4: Publication. Stories are published with full source attribution for each perspective, so you can follow any framing back to its original reporting.
Our Use of AI
We are transparent about this: Well This Is News uses artificial intelligence as a production tool. AI assists with perspective framing, summarization, and content organization at the scale required to cover the news cycle in real time.
What AI does not do is replace editorial judgment. Every story is shaped by human-defined editorial standards, reviewed against our accuracy and balance criteria, and published under the oversight of our editorial director. The AI handles the speed. The humans handle the standards.
